QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a BA/BS degree and three years of experience managing web services, web design and web site construction or any combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be flexible to work some evenings, weekends, and minor holidays.
DUTIES:
Web Manager is responsible for:
• Hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, scheduling and disciplining all staff assigned to this position
• Maintaining the integrity, accuracy, integration and interoperability of the Library's web-based catalog, online resources and other information access and retrieval systems
• Maintaining the Library's website and Intranet site; works with the Library Foundation and Friends organizations to design and maintain their websites
• Provides advice and guidance with regard to content review/approval; eCommerce; accessibility; 508 compliance; Web standards, etc.
• Oversees the design and creation of web forms that support online library services
• Monitors site statistics, user feedback and web-related research to anticipate future needs
The Web Manager reports to the Deputy Executive Director.

SALARY:
$4,458 - $5,417 per month
