Jefferson County Public Library is seeking a leader to direct our human resources division as our Associate Director for Employee Relations and Development. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required in some aspect of human resources, personnel management or related field and a minimum of six years experience in human resource/personnel management to include 3 years of supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education on a year for year basis. Strongly prefer current SPHR certification.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a valid driver's license, if you are from out of state, you must obtain a valid Colorado driver's license within 30 days of hire date and you must not have any major violations, nor more than one DUI, DWI, DWAI conviction in the past three years.
Must be available to work some evenings, weekends and minor holidays.

DUTIES:
Under general supervision, position directs and oversees all aspects of the Library Employee Relations & Development Department, for salaried, hourly and volunteer staff, to include recruitment, compensation (payroll and benefits), new hire orientation, performance management, staff development and separation from the Library in accordance with all local , state and federal laws, guidelines and regulations.
Work involves recruiting, directing, supervising and evaluating the performance of staff in the Employee Relations & Development Department. Directs and provides oversight to all library departments in all aspects of recruiting, compensation and separation from the county. Work will involve management of ADA, Worker's Compensation and unemployment insurance issues.

SALARY:
$4,814 - $7,857 Monthly
