Evergreen Library Remodel Postponed
(Lakewood, Colo. - June 21, 2010) Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) announced today that a planned remodel of the Evergreen Library is being postponed pending further notice. Library executives cited budget concerns as the reason for the project deferral.
"These are uncertain times," said Evergreen Library manager Priscilla Winter. "We remain committed to the Evergreen Library remodel, but we want to make sure we have enough money set aside to do it right. The good news is that we won't need to close the Library on August 8th, as previously announced, and the Library will operate on its normal schedule throughout the summer."
The Evergreen Public Library is located at 5000 Highway 73 (at Buffalo Park Road) and is open seven days a week at the following times: Sunday, noon to 5:00 p.m.; Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
